Châtelet (Walloon: Tcheslet) is a Walloon municipality located in the Belgian province of Hainaut, on the river Sambre. Chatelet, and, in particular, Bouffioux, became well known for the production of its potteries. Originally formed in coal-fired kilns, the works from the region became internationally sought after.
