Keila is a small north Estonian town of app. 10.000 inhabitants that lies 25 km to the West of the capital Tallinn. The Keila river runs along the eastern edge of the town before flowing into the Gulf of Finland in the Keila-Joa district. The main roads and railways to Paldiski and West Estonia (Haapsalu) run through the town, which is the major centre of the West of Harjumaa County.
